Introduction:
We start the show by celebrating our first National Podcast Day.
Main Show:
Sarah’s W.I.N’s:
Sarah discusses all the things people say to other people after they have lost weight or while they are trying to lose weight. We discuss each of the sayings and discuss whether or not they are insulting. You look great!
It is now S.A.D. season. In many regions, when daylight lessens, seasonal affect disorder starts to affect a lot of people. We discuss what this means and ways to combat it.
Peter’s W.I.N’s:
Peter discusses the confusion around all of the reasons the media tell us about why we are fat. The perfect is the enemy of the good!
Does music actually help us perform better? Peter discusses the ways music can help us and Gary disputes music in general.
Gary’s W.I.N’s:
Gary discusses foam rolling and whether or not it actually does anything. Some recent studies validate its use for blood flow and athletic performance. We discuss and dispute some of the findings and accept some as well.
More and more people have access and are using HSA’s. Gary talks about what they are and what they are so beneficial as a triple tax optimization investment tool.
Fan Feedback:
Steve sends us some great feedback about our minimum wage conversation. We discuss further.
