Intro:

A quick intro of hello’s that leads right into the show.

W.I.N. #1:

A recent study determines that the #1 cause of obesity is eating too much and moving too little.  Gary is annoyed that this still needs to be studied.  This is a quick conversation about eating too much.

W.I.N. #2:

Peter discusses self-optimizing as a potentially harmful thing.  Sel-optimization can be exhausting at times and rigidity.  Ultimately we decide that perfect is the enemy of good and that moderation is better.

W.I.N. #3:

Sarah discusses crying and why it is a good thing.  The conversation goes in many directions including Gary’s son crying during a baseball game and Sarah recently crying a lot.  The article suggests the many benefits of crying, some of which Gary disputes.  The end result is that crying is generally a good thing.

W.I.N. #4:

The last W.I.N. is a study where they used topical heating cream as a performance enhancer.  The results were minimally positive but the article still suggests that this is the secret to better exercise.  The team disputes this article and the findings.

Sleep Challenge:

We all discuss our experiences taping our mouths shut when we slept.  Peter was a total fail and only lasted one night.  Sarah had mixed results but nothing great.  Gary had a very positive experience and continues to tape his mouth at night.

Fan Feedback:
